Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how FiscAlert uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and application. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve user experience, and provide information to website owners.
2. Cookies We Use
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies support authentication and the language you request. You can block them in your browser, but doing so may prevent sign-in or language preferences from working. No consent is required for cookies strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user under Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive and Law 506/2004 art. 4(2).

2.2 Analytics Cookies
If you choose “Accept analytics”, FiscAlert uses first-party browser storage and a random visitor token to measure public landing and signup views and to retain minimized first/last acquisition attribution through signup and payment. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, cross-site tracking or retargeting.
Before consent, no analytics token or attribution is stored. Refusing has no effect on the service. Advertising click identifiers, when present, are encrypted on our server and removed after 90 days; minimized attribution and event records are removed after 180 days.
2.3 Payment Cookies (Stripe)
When you visit the Stripe-hosted payment or billing portal page, Stripe may set its own cookies governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy. We do not control these cookies. The Stripe portal is loaded in a separate browser tab and Stripe cookies do not appear on FiscAlert pages.
2.4 Advertising Cookies
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. We do not share data with advertising networks.
3. Cookie Notice and Consent
The banner offers equally accessible “Necessary only” and “Accept analytics” choices. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using “Privacy choices” on every page or the account privacy settings. Withdrawal deletes the browser attribution and requests deletion of related anonymous events. Browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals keep analytics disabled.
4. How to Control Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling connect.sid will prevent you from staying logged in.
5. Local Storage
The application uses browser localStorage for your privacy choice (fa-privacy-consent-v1, kept for up to 180 days), light/dark theme (fa-theme), dashboard choices and notice acknowledgements. Only after analytics consent, fa-marketing-attribution-v1 stores minimized campaign attribution and the consent record stores a random visitor token. Temporary functional filters may use sessionStorage until the tab closes.
